David Greene is a former process manager for Aker Kvaerner. With over 30 years of experience in the engineering industry, his body of work includes conceptual studies, detailed studies and engineering for biopharmaceutical, manufacturing facilities with particular emphasis on cell culture and fermentation along with the associated recovery and purification of units and the ancillary clean and plant utility systems. David has also been associated with the design of numerous small molecule facilities.
His expertise has served clients like Boehringer Ingelheim, ICI, Upjohn, Kodak, Teva, Nycomed, Sanofi Pasteur, Hofman LaRoche, Solutia, BASF, Immunex/Amgen, ImClone, Merck, Pfizer, Delta Biotech, Hoechst, Enzyme BioSystems (Genencor), Genzyme, American Cyanamid, Aeras, Matrivax, Novartis and Schering Plough.
He is well reputed as the author of numerous papers on process control, materials of construction, integrated management systems, process equipment design and cleaning in place (CIP).
